Rockin’ to the end of summer

Oysters Fantastic reunion show with A200 at the Lani Kai Sunday

Finally! We’re almooooost to the end of summer! What better way to celebrate the end of a hot, sticky, humid Florida season than heading down to the Lani Kai for a rare rock-n’-roll treat? Taking the Club Ohana stage tomorrow night, Sunday, Sept. 3, starting at 5 p.m. JAMM out to The Oysters reunion show – joined by fellow rockstars A200.

This will be a night you won’t want to miss, as rocker boys John Housely, Bryce Barnes and Joe Monroe reunite once again to light the stage with monster hits of young and old. Once a powerhouse band that dominated the local music scene, the boys don’t perform together as the Oysters Fantastic Band much anymore, each into other musical adventures; the last time they reunited was about a year ago – and that was after a 12-year hiatus!

Joining this magnificent menagerie will be the boys of A200, featuring Bob Tabarrini, John Housley (previously of the Oysters), Vic Jimenez, Stone Meracki and Chris Whited.

As Lani Kai musical director and A200 band member Bob Tabarrini says, “I’m really excited. I expect to bump into a lot of beach friends that I haven’t seen in a few years. It’s going to be one big dysfunctional family reunion.”

This is a one-night-only performance you just don’t want to miss. There’s no cost to enter, and the show and its collaborative comraderie will go all night long.

Rock on, my friends! \m/ \m/
